Abstract Outline: Murray Irrigation is the largest privately-owned irrigation company in the county and will focus its presentation on their journey to modernisation. In 2012, the company decided to make a massive investment in the region by rolling out the biggest asset renewal project our area has seen in the past 50 years, worth over $200 million. The Private Irrigation Infrastructure Operators Program (PIIOP) Round 2 will be completed in 2017 and will provide greater water efficiency and productivity, setting up our next generation of farmers.

The presentation will delve into the scale of works rolled out across the region, our customer consultation process, the contemporary Rubicon technology installed, how the project was implemented and the benefits to both our company and our customers.
