Alexis works in the beautiful Macalister Irrigation District as an Irrigation Extension Officer for Agriculture Victoria. Alexis is driven by a lifelong passion for promoting effective on farm practice change. Alexis is very fortunate in her role, she runs a demonstration project on irrigation efficiency, as well as helping to implement the sustainable irrigation program (SIP).  She feels that she gets the best of both worlds, as part of a great team helping irrigators to improve their own practices, and getting out on farm to demonstrate some of the new technology and techniques that can help them to do so. Alexis is currently based in Maffra, and in her spare time enjoys four wheel driving, horse riding, camping, and campdrafting.
